Lime from Quebec's Alexander Sod Farms
Lime can be a useful addition to your lawncare program (or garden beds) if a soil test indicates that it is required. Lime is helpful when the soil present is too acid, and needs to be more alkaline.
It's best to apply lime in the fall so that it can breakdown over the winter months for next year's growth. It can be applied at any time, however, and should be applied straight away if a soil test indicates lime is needed.
